Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Awards 2021 Announced by GoI
Tenzing Norgay Adventure Award (TNNAA) for the year 2021 was announced by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. The award is offered in four categories: Lifetime Achievement, Land Adventure, Water Adventure, and Air Adventure.
The National Selection Committee was constituted under the chairmanship of the Secretary (Youth Affairs).
The awardees will receive their awards from the President of India along with other Sports Awardees at the Rashtrapati Bhawan on 30th November 2022.
Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Awards are given annually to praise the achievement of persons in the fields of adventure.
The award encourages people to develop the spirit of endurance, risk-taking, cooperative teamwork, and quick reflexes.

Paralympic medallist Lekhara receives Para Sports Person of Year award
Former Ranji cricketer Sarkar Talwar received the Lifetime Achievement of the Year award at the Turf 2022 and India Sports Awards of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI). The Dronacharya Lifetime Award was handed to Talwar, the Director of Sports at Manav Rachna Education Institutions, by the Indian President.
Apart from Talwar, Avani Lekhara, who won two medals at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics, was recognized as the Para Sports Person of the Year, while ShreyKadyan was recognized as the Special Sportsperson of the Year. Best Male Coach to R.B. Ramesh and Best Female Coach to Nonita Lal Qureshi.

Ravi Kumar Sagar honoured with the prestigious Dr. Kalam Seva Puraskar
One of the youngest founders and CEO of the RK`S INNO group, Ravi Kumar Sagar, was awarded the coveted Dr. Abdul Kalam Seva Puraskar.
The award was presented to him for his persistent service to society and is one of the youngest entrepreneurs in India. A young entrepreneur from the twin Telugu states, Ravi Kumar Sagar also known as RK’S nailed it as a budding entrepreneur during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020.
